CFCM Weekly

You choose whether to subscribe. We use your email address to send the newsletter and manage your subscription, on the basis of your consent. Subscriptions require email confirmation. You can withdraw consent through the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Beehiiv provides the subscription and email-delivery service. Subscription records may include signup source, confirmation and consent information, delivery status and email interactions recorded by the service. Providing an email address is necessary to receive CFCM Weekly, but subscribing is not necessary to browse CFCM.

Contact messages

If you email us, we use the contact details and information you provide to handle your request. The basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries; requests about a potential service may also involve steps you request before a contract. Please do not send patient identifiers, clinical records or confidential laboratory data through general contact channels.

Website and service providers

Webflow hosts this website. Hosting and embedded services receive technical information needed to serve their content, such as IP address and browser information. The site also loads external fonts and a Beehiiv signup form. Search and educational tools are separate from newsletter subscription; do not enter patient identifiers into them.

Providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Their published data-processing terms describe international-transfer arrangements, including contractual safeguards. Information about the safeguards relevant to your data can be requested from the CFCM contact above. See Beehiiv’s data-processing terms, Beehiiv’s privacy notice and Webflow’s data-processing terms.

Retention

Subscription data is used while you remain subscribed. After withdrawal, records needed to honour your unsubscribe preference, demonstrate consent or address legal obligations and claims may be retained only for those purposes. Contact correspondence is retained while needed to resolve the enquiry and related obligations or claims. A deletion request can be made to the contact above.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also withdraw consent. Contact juan.ojeda@cfcm.es; we may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

External links and changes

External resources have their own privacy practices. We will update this notice when CFCM’s services or data processing change.

Optional website analytics

CFCM uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager only after you accept analytics. It measures page visits and selected newsletter, sponsor and applications-service links. Link clicks show interest; they do not prove a subscription, a sent email or a completed enquiry.

Analytics may use first-party identifiers and technical information about your visit. CFCM does not send newsletter email addresses, form contents or subscription tokens to Analytics. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied. Page URLs exclude query strings and fragments; referrers are reduced to the referring origin.

You can reject analytics and continue using CFCM. The Privacy choices button in the footer lets you change your decision; the preference is stored for up to six months. Withdrawing consent stops further CFCM measurement and removes CFCM Analytics cookies on this browser.

Google provides the analytics service and may process data outside the EEA under its applicable service and data-processing terms. Google Privacy Policy · Google data-processing terms. Contact CFCM for questions about your data or retention.
