Facts supported by cited sources

FlowJo v10.10.2 was released on 18 September 2026. The release notes state that FlowJo v10 now supports BD FACSDiscover Detector Independent Scaling data, described as a means of normalizing parameters despite varied gain settings.

For BD FACSDiscover data, BD SpectralFX is now the default unmixing method rather than ordinary least squares.

CFCM explainer — the standardisation chain

FACSDiscover acquisition → DSI scaling → FlowJo 10.10.2 downstream analysis.

Software support is not independent multicentre clinical validation. Cross-site transferability still depends on sample preparation, reagents, QC, acquisition, unmixing, transformations and the biological endpoint. For the CFCM AI Evidence Tracker: instrument harmonisation is addressed conceptually by DSI; fluorescence calibration, external-site validation, domain-shift evidence and OOD handling are not demonstrated by these release notes.
